CAMP/TEAM PLAY PROGRAMS

Winter MINI-Camp:
The NRBA has had many requests for league play. In response, the NRBA has developed a unique winter program on Saturdays for girls and boys ages 7-12. The Saturday dates are: February 6, 13, 27 and March 6, 13, 20. The 7-9 year old program will run from 8:30-11:30 am, and the 10-12 year old program will run from 12:30-3:30 pm. Each three hour segment will include life skill challenges, fundamental instruction in the game, team practices, and weekly team/league play. Each student will be assigned to a team and coach at the beginning of Winter MINI-Camp, compete in no fewer than 12 league games, and develop dramatically in their understanding of team dynamics and team chemistry. Each student will receive a reversible jersey, a certificate of completion and a Path to Victory New Testament. There will also be numerous special trophies, awards and recognitions given. The NRBA is known for the way team play is integrated into its Summer Camps. Now you can experience that same high quality team atmosphere during Winter MINI-Camp. The cost for Winter MINI-Camp is only $125/student. Enrollment is limited to 30 players per age group so enroll today before it’s too late.

Summer Camp:
The NRBA offers full day camping opportunities (8 am to 4 pm) throughout the summer for girls and boys ages 7-18. Camp is an excellent way to receive concentrated instruction from multiple coaches who are all committed to teaching, motivating, and challenging young people to reach their full potential. Camps are also a great way to meet new friends, and build lasting relationships. The cost of each session is $199.00, but for those who register before May 15th, the cost is only $175.00/session. Spaces are limited, and with the tremendous response in the Summer of 2009, camp enrollment is expected to fill up quickly so DON’T DELAY in getting registered!

2010 Camp Schedule:
Week One: June 14-18 (Boys/Girls Ages 7-12)
Week Two: June 21-25 (Boys Ages 13-18)

Team Training Sessions:
The NRBA is excited about assisting local teams in their player and team development. Coach Miller will personally lead every 90 minute training session, and will structure each session to fit the needs of your team. Each session will be highly energized, and will offer a unique training experience for all coaches who desire to integrate their faith with the game of basketball. Team training sessions can be arranged as a one-time event or as part of a multiple session package. An individual session cost is $80. A 10% discount is offered on each additional session, up to a 50% cost reduction.

Open Gym Play:
The NRBA is open for anyone interested in working on their game individually or for those players who want to get in a game with friends or other NRBA patrons. Believe me, there is always plenty of full court action at an NRBA Open Gym. There is no charge for Open Gym Play. Donations are accepted with all gifts going to support the NRBA. Open Gym schedules are posted each month at NRBasketballAcademy.com

This program focuses on intense skill development on consecutive days over a three week period, where your knowledge of the game and skill level will be increased dramatically. This program can accommodate 3-12 players who wish to train together in reaching their full potential. Many students will want to repeat this program again and again so that their fundamental foundation remains strong, and their game grows to new levels. All sessions are 75 minutes in length for a 15 day total
of over 18 hours of concentrated instruction. As the program
is repeated the cost is reduced.

3-5 players: First Time $150 Repeat Time $115*
5-8 players: First Time $125 Repeat Time $100*
9-12 players: First Time $100 Repeat Time $85*
* within 12 months

Shooter’s Heaven:
The NRBA understands that finding the time and place to get the kind of repetitions you need to be a great shooter is sometimes difficult. It’s also difficult to stay focused without a coach’s support and motivation. At the NRBA we believe that game shots at game speed = game results; therefore, we’re committed to helping you achieve those results by planning and supervising your shooting
work-out. You call us, in season or out of season, and we will schedule 60 minutes with you, getting you the kind of repetitions that lead to success for just $30.00/session. The NRBA uses the ‘Gun 6000’ and ‘Shoot-A-Way’ training devices to assist in your shooting development. The NRBA has also developed its own specific shooting programs that are designed to take your shooting accuracy to a new level.

Leadership Academy:
Beginning in January 2010, the NRBA will offer at no cost, a one hour weekly leadership training seminar for all interested students. The seminar will focus on helping students understand God's plan for their lives, on how they can become a winner on and off the court, and on what being a true Godly leader entails and requires. There will also be hands on opportunities to put leadership principles into practice. Stay connected through the website at NRBasketballAcademy.com for more details on this exciting new program.

Plyometric Power Training:
