On October 25, 2010, the NRBA paid tribute to Jared Williams through a special ceremony held at the Academy. A plaque was dedicated and permanently placed inside the Academy to celebrate and honor Jared's life. Jared went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2010. He will always be remembered as one of the NRBA Staff's favorite students.

"Jared had an endearing personality, and a smile that absolutely captivated everyone who met him. On the court, his work ethic and commitment to improving his game set him a part, and made him a joy to teach. Monday night was an opportunity for the NRBA Staff to let Angie and Ron know how much their son meant to each one of us. We loved him and will miss him dearly." Coach Miller
